Continuing the series on the un’s sustainable development goals (SDGs) and their importance to the construction industry, this Build looks at SDG 12 – Responsible consumption and production patterns.
A life cycle assessment tool developed by BRANZ calculates the climate change and environmental impact of a building design, showing hotspots and causes. It’s an easy way for designers to work out how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a building.
